Background Information

The Inter Governmental Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement between The Republic of India and the United Mexican States was signed on July 23rd, 1975. The nodal agencies to implement this cooperation are Department of Science and Technology from Indian side and the National Council for Science & Technology (CONACYT) of United Mexican States from Mexican side. The first Programme of Cooperation between the two sides was signed for the period 2000-2003. This POC was subsequently renewed for 2005-2007on October 21st, 2005.
