MOU on S&T Cooperation between India and Spain was signed on 12th June, 2007 at Madrid, Spain. The MOU was signed by Mr. Kapil Sibal, Hon'ble Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences on the Indian side. Ms. Mercedes Cabrera Calvo-Sotelo, Hon'ble Minister for Education & Science and Mr. Joan Clos i Matheu, Hon'ble Minister for Industry, Tourism and Trade signed from the Spanish side. The signing of the MOU marks initiation of S&T cooperation programme between the two countries through exchange of scientists, researchers and technical personnel, organization of bilateral scientific and technical conferences, seminars, exhibitions, joint R&D projects, etc.
